Venus enters Virgo on August 5 and will remain there until August 31. Whenever we think of Venus, we think of it as the planet of love. Because of this, we tend to think that Venus will always influence us to act overtly romantic. We think it will make us act more flirtatious and motivate us to chase after the one we want. While that may be the case when Venus enters certain signs, it certainly isn’t always true.
When Venus is in Virgo, we will definitely notice its influence on our love lives. However, it may not play out as we expected. The changes might be subtle. Here’s what to expect when Venus enters Virgo:
- You actually might act shy and more cautious.
Venus in Virgo is nothing like Venus in Leo. You won’t suddenly feel very flirtatious and bold. Instead, you might feel a bit more reserved and hesitant when it comes to romance. You don’t want to show off or try to seduce anyone-instead, you might want to wait and see who comes to you when they see you for who you truly are.

Even if you find yourself really liking someone, and they’ve started to give you some positive signals back in your direction, you might still hesitate to go for it. Virgo is a grounded earth sign that craves complete stability. You’ll want to be sure that this person truly cares about you and feels the same way before you reveal your own feelings and go for it.
- You’ll show your love through acts of service.
Venus in Virgo isn’t all about expensive gifts or elaborate dates straight out of a romance novel. It’s about showing how much you care about others through your actions. Why not do something extra special for your significant other, or someone that you want to get to know better? It will definitely make a bigger impression than a fancy gift.
- You’ll want to feel appreciated.
This doesn’t mean that you’ll be acting needy or begging for attention and accolades. But a little extra appreciation-especially if you’ve been going out of your way to show your love-always feels great, doesn’t it? Remember that happiness has to come from within, and that just doing good deeds should make you feel good-even if they occasionally go unnoticed by others.
